began as a consulting firm focusing on developing
websites and producing desktop publishing
for small businesses. During its evolution,
PBS slowly transformed into a publisher of
not-for-profit websites. These sites are published
as a community service and no charges are
made. The organization pays for the web location
(URL).

The owner of Papillon Business
Solutions©, Lou Thompson, began building
websites in 1998.
The first site built was for
the American Legion Auxiliary, Department
of California. It was recognized by the American
Legion Auxiliary National Organization, earning
the award of Best Department Internet Website
for five years. The site was visited each
month by thousands of Auxiliary members seeking
its comprehensive material. Its construction
included more than 400 pages with hundreds
of links and images.
Lou
uses state-of-the-art Web design programs
and attends college classes to improve her
skills.
